A WHIMSICAL WELCOME TO
CHITTENANGO'S OZ-STRAVAGANZA!
Dear Residents and Cherished Visitors,
As the Mayor of our wonderfully whimsical Village of Chittenango, I, Louis Cianfrocco, extend a heartfelt and joyous welcome to each and every one of you as we prepare to embark on another enchanting journey at our annual Oz-Stravaganza!
Here in the birthplace of L. Frank Baum, the imaginative creator of the timeless “Wizard of Oz,” we hold the magic of Oz close to our hearts. This year, as the calendar turns to 2025, we are thrilled to once again open our doors and our imaginations to celebrate the enduring legacy of this beloved tale.
Whether you are a familiar face, returning to experience the Land of Oz right here in Chittenango, or a first-time visitor eager to discover the magic, we are delighted to have you with us. Prepare to be swept away by the vibrant colors, the delightful characters, and the heartwarming spirit that defines our Oz-Stravaganza.
Throughout the festival, you’ ll find a delightful array of activities, from engaging presentations and fascinating exhibits to lively entertainment, unique vendors, and of course, opportunities to meet costumed characters who have stepped straight out of the pages of Oz. It’s a chance for the young and the young at heart to immerse themselves in the wonder and wisdom of Dorothy’s adventures.
Our dedicated community has worked tirelessly to make this year’s Oz-Stravaganza a truly memorable experience for all. We hope you will explore our charming village, connect with fellow Oz enthusiasts, and create lasting memories.
So, come along and join the celebration! Let the spirit of Oz fill your hearts with joy and wonder as we gather together in Chittenango.
Welcome to Oz-Stravaganza 2025!
With warmest regards,
Louis Cianfrocco, Mayor, Village of Chittenango
