Oz-Stravaganza! Parade 2021

Dear Oz Parade Participant,

The International L. Frank Baum & All Things Oz Historical Foundation Board of Trustees, in consultation with the Madison County Health Department, State of New York, and CDC guidelines, has decided to cancel the 2021 Oz-Stravaganza festival.

The current Covid-19 outbreak and the pace at which vaccinations are rolling out make it impossible for us to plan a safe event for the beginning of June. This was not a decision we came to lightly. The festival accounts for nearly 50% of our annual budget and brings OZ fans together for a weekend of fun and camaraderie, but we are always mindful of the safety of our volunteers, guests, and sponsors, and it would be irresponsible to move forward at this time.

The All Things Oz Museum also remains temporarily closed. We will continue to share updates on the museum and when we plan to reopen as they become available.

We are planning to hold some of the Oz-Stravaganza events you love online and remotely this year. More details will come soon on those events.

Thank you for your past participation in the Oz Parade that brings joy to the thousands of fans that line the streets.

“SAVE THE DATE”
Oz-Stravaganza 2022 will be held June 3–5.  Oz Parade will kick off at 2:00 P.M. Saturday June 42022.

Please plan to join us!

Ozzily,

Jeffrey Gifford
