Join us for the 2nd Annual Miss Oz-Stravaganza! Pageant
Girls ages 2 to 19 are invited to participate in this event which, in addition to beauty, promotes character, confidence, charisma and community spirit. Pageant winners will serve as ambassadors for the community and at a variety of Oz-Stravaganza! activities.
2011 Miss Oz-Stravaganza!  The pageant wasn’t anything like I expected it to be. I imagined it being very serious and competitive. Instead, it was very light and fun. I was most nervous about presenting a speech, but I’m glad I did it because it has helped me to overcome my fear of speaking in front of others. It has also helped me get into the public speaking class at school and to be more successful at it. Getting dressed up and wearing the tiara wasn’t so bad either. Throughout the year I have had so much fun and experienced new things. Being part of the Oz-Stravaganza! parade was really special. I was happy to see so many of my friends come out to support me. It was also great to see the younger girls so excited. The Idol Show and The Price is Right Show were evenings I will never forget. I was lucky to work with Mark Baum who is hilarious and just a great guy. I got to try my hand at hosting a show and listen to some amazing singers. I also had the opportunity to meet many new people and to feel more a part of my community and not just my school. It was a great experience from beginning to end.
